The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) Examination to recruit candidates for different ministries, departments, and offices of the Government of India. Every year lakhs of SSC aspirants after completing their 10th class appear for the exam to get shortlisted for the following posts.
Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff and Havaldar Exam) every year and the selection process is as follows:
Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) - A candidate must be a minimum of 18 years of age and must not exceed 25 years of age.
Havaldar Age Limit- A candidate must be of a minimum of 18 years of age and must not exceed 27 years of age.
Relaxations are provided for reserved categories (SC/ST, OBC, etc.).
There will be a Computer-Based Examination which is divided in 2 Sessions. Session-I and Session-II and both the Sessions will be mandatory to be attempted.

Note: The SSC MTS written exam is divided into 2 sections. There will be no negative marking in Session 1 and there shall be a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer in Session 2.
